Chinatown is a book by Thuan, translated by Nguyen An Ly and published by Tilted Axis in 2022.

Technically I found this book tricky to read because it had no chapters and few paragraphs, which made it difficult to put down. The story, which takes place on the Metro, is served well by this choice, the central character is mulling over her life, relationships, what has come before this moment. What was technically difficult, worked very well to give that sense of continuity, a real train of thought.
