The Discomfort of Evening by Marieke Lucas Rijneveld, translated in to English by Michele Hutchison, originally published in 2018, the #ebook I read was published, in translation, by Faber and Faber in 2020. This novel won the Booker International Prize this year.

This novel is grim, hard reading, very well written and translated, very uncomfortable.
