Nigeria

The official language of Nigeria is English and while other national languages were mentioned in the novel, namely Hausa and Yoruba, My Sister the Serial Killer was written in English by Oyinkan Braithwaite. This was a bit dark, very entertaining, occasionally slightly frustrating but ultimately an easy to read and enjoyable book. It would have made a great holiday read and it was definitely an antidote to the alienation that permeated the Haitian novel I read before it.
