Bae Suah's Untold Night and Day, translated by Deborah Smith and published by Jonathan Cape in 2020.
The story of Ayami, starts quite straight-forwardly and slowly becomes more confused. A good short novel, to be read with attentive focus and deliberation. Deborah Smith's translator's note at the end of the edition was a helpful contribution to understanding what was difficult to convey in translation.
